Last updated July 1, 2026. How SMS text messaging works across products published by Compound Labs.

What this is

Some Compound Labs products send SMS text messages on behalf of the business using them, for example appointment reminders, booking confirmations, and service follow-ups. This page explains what those messages are, how consent is collected, and how to stop them.

Messages you may receive

Messages are transactional and account-related: appointment and renewal reminders, booking and reschedule confirmations, service follow-ups, and replies to a conversation you started. We do not send promotional or marketing blasts through this program.

How you opt in

You provide your mobile number to a business, when you book an appointment, request service, or give it directly, and consent to receive SMS from that business at that time. Consent is recorded per contact. We never add a number that was not given to the business with consent, and we never purchase phone number lists.

Message frequency

Frequency varies by how you interact with the business, typically a handful of messages around an appointment or an open request. There is no recurring scheduled blast.

Cost

Compound Labs does not charge you to receive these messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting out and help

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately; you will receive one confirmation and no further messages from that business. Reply HELP for support contact information. You can also ask the business directly to remove your number.

Your phone number

Your mobile number is used only to deliver the messages described above for the business you gave it to. We do not sell your number, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Messages are delivered through our telecommunications provider solely to send the SMS you consented to receive.
