UNKNOWN IS NEVER A PASS

Approving a vendor's insurance certificate answers to a board, and an adjuster

Someone approving a vendor's insurance certificate is putting that decision in front of a board, and if it ever matters, in front of an adjuster.

CoverCheck reads the certificates property and HOA managers collect from vendors, checks the limits and dates against what each community requires, and comes back with compliant, expiring, needs review, or not compliant. The rule underneath all four is that unknown is never a pass. An empty certificate holder box is a hard fail, because the paper was never issued to the association. A holder name that merely doesn't match is a review item, since associations get renamed and abbreviated constantly and that is a person's call.

If the certificate can't be read cleanly, nothing gets scored at all. No verdict is written, and the vendor waits on a human rather than picking up a green tick off half a document.

The free check on the landing takes the numbers you type off the face of the certificate and hands them to that same code, so a visitor sees the answer the paid product would give. Reading the paper is what the $15 a month buys.
