GoodStanding prepares reinstatement filings for revoked 501(c)(3) organizations
A revoked 501(c)(3) can lose its federal exemption and its California standing at the same time. GoodStanding puts the EIN lookup, the 15-month deadline, the filing path, and the prepared documents on one console so I can see what happened and what comes next.
GoodStanding
EIN lookup
The main page opens with an EIN field and a Check status control. The console names the two sources beside it, the IRS Auto-Revocation List and the California Registry of Charitable Trusts.
I enter the exact nine-digit EIN from the IRS letters or a past filing. GoodStanding uses that lookup to open the organization record and show the federal and California status together.

The sample record
The sample record shows Cedar Hollow Arts Collective, EIN 07-0451926, with an IRS revocation date of November 15, 2025. It also shows the IRS posting date of February 9, 2026, California status Delinquent, and a California status date of April 1, 2025.
The record gives the dates a place in the filing process. The IRS posting date sets the streamlined window to February 15, 2027, while the California status identifies the separate state filings that still need attention.

The 15-month window
The middle column opens with a panel labeled The 15-month window. Its timeline points to February 15, 2027, and places that date beside the current checklist step.
GoodStanding uses the deadline to decide which reinstatement route applies. The sample record stays on the streamlined path because the filing window remains open.

The cure checklist
Below the deadline, The cure lists the filings in order. The checklist includes the eligibility worksheet, Form 1023-EZ preparation, the California RRF-1 and CT-TR-1 filings, the cover letter, the IRS determination letter, and Form FTB 3500A.
Each row names the document, where it goes, the fee, and the target date. The California set does not wait for the IRS application, while Form FTB 3500A waits for the IRS determination letter to attach.

The Cure Pack
The right rail shows the available Cure Pack documents and marks the pack that fits the sample record. The streamlined pack contains the eligibility worksheet, the Form 1023-EZ preparation package, the California cure pack, and the cure checklist.
GoodStanding keeps the filing preparation tied to the record instead of presenting two interchangeable choices. The sample pack states that Section 4 of Rev. Proc. 2014-11 is the route for retroactive reinstatement, and the prepared Form 1023-EZ package carries the $275 IRS user fee separately from preparation.

The prepared filing
The filing rows open the document prepared for that step. The Form 1023-EZ package shows the organization name, EIN, address, contact, entity type, mission, foundation classification, and the Section 4 selection in Part V.
The document marks values that still need confirmation with [CONFIRM]. I can open the sample PDF from the filing row and review the answers before signing and filing.
California cure details
The California cure pack shows the Registry status as Delinquent and the status date as April 1, 2025. It lists the RRF-1 and CT-TR-1 filings, the cover letter, the accrued late fee calculation of 17 months multiplied by $25, and Form FTB 3500A after the IRS determination letter arrives.
GoodStanding separates the federal reinstatement from the California cure. The console shows the state filing set, the $425 accrued late fee figure, and the document that restores the state income-tax exemption after the IRS letter is available.
