CivicBinder Health prepares Section 1557 WCAG 2.1 AA clinic binders

CivicBinder Health prepares Section 1557 WCAG 2.1 AA clinic binders

A clinic sends a patient a link to book, and the person on the other end uses a screen reader. If the booking page fights them, that is a discrimination complaint, not a bad review.

CivicBinder Health audits a practice's website, patient portal and public documents against WCAG 2.1 AA, then hands back the binder: every failing element ranked, a Notice of Nondiscrimination and accessibility policy to post, a public accessibility statement, and a dated remediation plan.

It's for clinics, dental offices and community health centers. If you take Medicare or Medicaid, Section 1557 reaches you. Fifteen or more employees, the date is May 11, 2027. Under fifteen, May 10, 2028.

The question everyone asks first is whether a site somebody else built still counts. It does. So the plan is written as a work order you hand straight to whoever maintains the site.

Start with the free scan, five pages, no account and no card. The binder is $299 one-time for a single location, $499 for multi-site and FQHCs, plus $19 a month if you want the quarterly re-scan.

Send this to your practice manager.

What each account said

https://health.civicbinder.org/ki CivicBinder Health prepares health care providers for Section 1557 with a WCAG 2.1 AA audit, document inventory, notices, accessibility statement, and dated remediation plan. It checks public websites, patient-portal fronts, and published documents, without accessing patient data. A single-location practice pays $299 once, or $499 once for multi-site and FQHC coverage. An optional quarterly re-scan costs $19 a month. #Section1557
