The Compound Labs character
Say hello to Lid.
Lid is a grey box with two eyes under its lid. Lid has no mouth. The lid, eyes and arms show every mood. Pick a mood and Lid changes.
Curious
Something new just appeared.
Lid has no mouth.
- The lid
- The lid rises, drops and tilts. A high lid means surprise. A crooked lid means doubt.
- The eyes
- The eyes widen, narrow or close. They always stay inside the box.
- The body
- The box stretches when Lid is proud and sags when Lid is relieved.
- The arms
- Two thin arms point, wave and go up in the air.
One mood leads to the next.
In our films, Lid moves from mood to mood as the work happens. These loops use the same drawing as the films.
The result arrives correct.
The risky step finishes without errors.
Too many tickets arrive. Lid starts work on them, and the release ships.
Lid works in our films.
Lid walks through each new Compound Labs film. Lid points at the part of the screen that matters and reacts when a result comes back.
When Lid is on screen, the Compound Labs name appears without the cube logo.
